Women's Cacao Dance

Please join us for an intimate evening where we will open our hearts through the medicines of dance and cacao. Peruvian Medicine Woman, Sol, will be guiding us through a traditional ceremony with cacao, and Ecstatic Dance DJ, Deanna, will be guiding our free form dance journey (read more below).

5:15-6:15pm: Cacao Ceremony led by Sol

6:15-7:45pm: Dance Journey led by Deanna

Deanna's Dance Journeys are free-form movement spaces (as some call "Ecstatic Dance") that invite and support your body to fully and authentically express in whatever way feels true for you in the present moment. As a trained Ecstatic Dance DJ & Embodiment Guide, Deanna curates a space and musical journey that invites you to dive deep into your body, soul and spirit, offering strong potential for healing, growth and transformation. The space is sober, barefoot, and non-verbal (though sounds are welcome).

Deanna's DJ style has been described as tribal, medicinal, feminine, playful, inspirational, international, soulful and heart-centered. She loves to mix Latin and African beats, earth sounds, and inspiring lyrics. Deanna channels her visceral passion for dance, music and the Earth through her music journeys.
